Guide Publishing
Welcome to the Guides Submission Forum. Here, you can post your own guides and potentially have them posted on the Draynor.net Website for everyone to see, along with receiving the appropriate credit for doing so. Below, is a brief guide on what we will expect you to follow as you create your very own guide. Refer yourself to these guidelines as much as possible, or you will face a bumpy road with your guide in the future.
--- Guide Structure
At this moment, we do not have any available pre-made guide structure for your RuneScape guides. We ask that you focus on simplicity when making your guides. Be sure to add all neccessary requirements, rewards, starting locations, and several images to help players along the way. To ensure Draynor.net guides are in tip-top shape, we ask that you take all of your guides with as much detail as possible.
--- Images
It's not often that a guide is accepted without any images. Pictures and maps are one of the few aspects of a guide that will allow players to understand your guide to it's full potential. Before implementing any images into your guide, we ask that you thoroughly follow the guidelines below. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in a harder workload in the future with your guide.- All images must be in .PNG format. (Right)
- Keep image dimensions to a minimum. Crop any irrelevant details from your screenshots. Do not submit massive screenshots of your entire playing screen.
- Avoid from having in-game menus, private messages, or public chat appear in your images. Only use what is neccessary, and has the most relevance towards the subject at hand.
- Maps in guides posted by members should not contain any extra lines drawn on MS Paint, much like this example. Instead you'll be visiting the official RuneScape map applet (if required), re-screenshot the area, and mark the building/area with the hex color 0080ff, using an image editing program as seen in this example.
- No extra text should be added unless the area of the map's location doesn't have the map's own label on it. Use a white arrow and white text to indicate the nearest town/area which players can recognize/locate, preferably related to the quest.

.JPEG images are not allowed.
Use .PNG images at all times.

The process of contributing a guide for Draynor.net. |
--- Publishing your Guide
At Draynor.net, we strive to make sure that the process of contributing a piece of content goes as smoothly, and as easily as possible. Referring to the list to the left, we will go into detail on how to ensure that your guide gets to be seen on Draynor.net.
To begin, the author will post a finished piece of content in the Content Submission forum. At this stage of your guide, it is recommended that you have all neccessary content posted. Afterwards, members and staff will give constructive criticism towards the content, and the author will make any neccessary changes based on the feedback given after a short period of time.
If everything seems alright to a staff member, they will move the content to the Accepted Guides forum, where it will wait to be submitted onto the website. This process may take several hours, depending on the necessity of the guide.

Queries regarding the process of content submission should
be privately messaged to any staff currently active on the content areas of Draynor.net.
