DRAYNOR.NET GLOBAL RULES
General Forum Rules
  • Posts and topics are to be made in the relevant forum, and users are asked to read forum descriptions before posting in a forum. Users who consistently post in the wrong forum or make irrelevant posts towards the subject at hand will be given a warning.
  • Members should post in a way that is respectful towards other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a severe warning.
  • Trolling disturbs and corrupts our intended friendly, pleasant community environment. It is neither welcome nor tolerated here and will be dealt with harshly by immediate warnings, followed by suspensions and bans if the misbehavior continues.
  • Members are asked to not act as "back seat moderators". If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document, they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a Draynor.net staff member by using the report feature within a topic that requires moderator attention.
  • Members should remember that this community is aimed at a general audience. Posting profanity, pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated.
  • Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, cracks, etc. or re-printing material without permission will receive a warning and their post will be removed. In addition to this rule, Draynor.net does not condone plagiarism, and any sign of such will be dealt with severely.
  • Members of the community should post in a way which is considered 'normal'; users should not overuse emoticons to an extent where it distracts your attention from the main post. Oversized, too small, or colored text, etc. isn't necessary at all. Similarly, users should not type in all-CAPS or use excessive punctuation (e.g. excessive exclamation/question marks) in topic titles or posts.
  • As a friendly reminder, members should use an appropriate and descriptive title and (optional) description when posting a new topic. Examples of brief, vague, and generally bad topic titles include; "Help me!", "I'm Stuck!", "I've got a Problem!", etc. Examples of good, descriptive titles would include; "Stuck in Wilderness", "Can't find Weapon", etc.
  • Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes consistently advertising your website without permission from a Draynor.net staff member. Any spam topics, or posts suspected of causing spam will be deleted on sight, and a warning will be given. If the unnecessary spamming continues, further suspensions and bans will be handed out to the member(s) in violation of this rule.
  • The staff of Draynor.net reserves the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to staff and not users.
  • All of the above forum rules where applicable also apply to our private messaging system. Abuse of the PM system may potentially lead to warnings (as noted in the rules above) and/or the revocation of your private messaging abilities.
  • If you come across a topic marked as "[Answered]" within the forum, please refrain from posting any additional content in the topic unless you feel the information you are giving will chance the overall outcome of the topic in a positive manner.
  • Having more than one account on Draynor.net is prohibited. If you are having trouble accessing your account, please contact a Forum Administrator, and they'll do their best to work with you in getting your original account back. Members who create more than one account can expect a ban along with a rating deduction on all related accounts.
Policing
  • Draynor.net operates a warning system. Users will be warned up to a maximum -5 'points' for any and all offences. If the warn level reaches -5, a temporary ban/suspension will be put in place, with the length of the punishment depending on the severity of the violation(s) caused.
  • Negatively reacting towards any aspect of the community after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should such a dispute exceed multiple occurrences, a temporary ban will be put in place.
  • Users who feel they have been unfairly warned/suspended are welcome to contact the relevant staff member regarding the issue. Their decision is final, despite any points that may have been brought up during contact with them.
  • Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Circumvention includes, but is not limited to: re-registering under an irrelevant username; changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban; registering a new email account of evade an email ban; posting as an anonymous user.

Signature Rules & Violations
Draynor.net's official signature guidelines are as follows:
  • Dimension Limits: 500x250 (If there are multiple images, add up the dimensions for the total dimensions.)
  • Size Limits: 300KB (Again, if there are multiple images, add them up for the total file size.)
  • Text Limits: Text must not be majorly eye-catching to an extent where it distracts someone from the topic at hand; i.e - extra large font/overly colored font. Text should preferably be under 500 characters.
    • Links: Linking your signature to any inappropriate content or other RuneScape fansites is prohibited.
If a user is in violation of our signature guidelines, your signature will be removed entirely, and will be replaced with a formal warning. If you do happen to receive this warning, there's no need to hesitate unless you violate our signature guidelines for a second time. Violating our signature guidelines for a second time will result in a minor negative rating, along with the removal of your signature once again.

Avatar Guidelines
Users are permitted to utilize our available gallery avatars, or to link to one of their own. Manually uploaded avatars are to be no larger than 120x120px, contain no profanity or image which attempts to portray the user as having an official status here (e.g. mimicking ranks or copying avatars of team members). Avatars also must not exceed 50KB in file size and have a consistently high availability (i.e. links to images on slow servers or those prone to failure may be removed).
