Elf & Nate: Part 1

Howdy,

I figure I should start posting here since I am doing work for Draynor now. So, I've been pretty busy since I have started. With some help from Elf, we fixed the signatures and got those up and running again. Something was wrong with the background images, and the avatars wouldn't show up on the signatures! After many hours of looking over the coding, and trying to figure out why they wouldn't function properly, we cracked the code.

Now that all the signatures were up and running again, we decided to upgrade the avatars to HD. With help from Dpower20, that got done fairly fast. We still could use more, visit this topic for more information on how to help us.

As we were collecting HD avatars, Elf and I started to work on the Adventurer's Log signatures. This took some time, and we are still working on them. But they get the job done for right now

So that is what we have done so far. Keep an eye out for Elf & Nate part 2, which is on "What we are doing". Elf will talk about the plans for Draynor and how it will look in the future

We're in the very early "planning stages" of what will become the next generation of Draynor.net We're thinking of going all the way back to the drawing board and recoding everything from scratch.

Hi,

It's been a while without any significant updates or improvements, so I made a decision to give you guys more of my time, by quitting my job (I'm making more money from other sources.).

I will be online full time (almost) from now on, and I will have more time to work on the website.

I'm going to be moving in a few weeks but not to worry, I have mobile broadband as well so it won't affect my presence by much if at all.

I'll be making a tracking page on the website soon where you can see the progress with the new website without waiting for my posts on the matter, since I am very lazy when it comes to posting stuff like this, just now I felt like I had to. XD

Heya,

I've been really busy for the past month, so I haven't had anything to say here, but now I have some good news! :)

I am focusing on a large scale website update to be released next, followed by signature improvements and a nice new forum update.

I don't wanna give any hints, stay on your toes and I guarantee you'll notice the next update. :)

Hey everyone!

So uhm, as I said before I've been really busy in real life lately and I've been struggling with this crap wireless internet stick I bought last week, at the moment its working fine but it isn't exactly as fast as they said it would be.. nevertheless this topic is going to be completely about a new feature I've been working on for the past several weeks, completely behind the scenes. :) (Except for a few people and staff who knew about it)

So I present to you.. The Wardrobe, a mass outfit planner and price checker, and at the same time its a good base for maybe a future development of a full blown item database :)

So as you can see, the interface is very interactive and easy to use, easy on the eyes and simply put together in a way so no one would have problems using it. :P

The only requirement from your side is a support for Javascript, since the page contains no page reloads apart from the first, everything SHOULD work without a problem with the AJAX/PHP soul it has. :P

Currently, being under minor expansion and finishing I won't release it to the public, we still have items to add, small bugs to fix and some interface improvements to make, to maximize the experience when using this tool. :)

Well, that's all about it now, keep checking in on the news forums and you'll see a BETA release any time soon. :)

Heyas,

The last few/several weeks have been extremely quiet from my side, I've spent most of my time hanging out with friends, catching up on old relationships and been at our summer house for most of my time.

I've not forgotten you though, all the stuff I've planned are still under construction and now that I bought a laptop + mobile internet stick for it, I'll be available (almost) at all times. Don't lose faith in me even though you don't see me. :D

I'll try to get some base work done on a few new secret projects and the rest of the guide databases (skill, city, player written etc.) and a new calculator engine and a lot of other stuff on the backend side of the website.

So, today we FINALLY released the Quests Database to the public, revamped our navigation and RuneScape Tips System... what's next?

As mentioned before, I'll be working on a stats tracker and more types of guides will start appearing on the website along with some extra content I have yet to think of. :P

As always, we are open to any cool suggestions for improvement or new content, bear in mind we are not able to implement all of the suggested features for reasons such as security, plagiarism and stupidity. ( <_< )

I'll also be making the themes of the website more appealing, so more eye candy is coming your way. :)

Mmm.. I'll be inactive quite a bit due to summer vacation, parties and my birthday which is coming up next wednesday, but I'll be working on draynor whenever I get the chance to. :D I won't forget you! ;)

Slow Motion

Hi guyz,

I've been away for the past week or so, if you haven't noticed, the server was acting up a bit and some parts of the website were broke, not to worry I think I got everything fixed (for now) and we'll move onto the actual interesting bit.

Quests Database will be released upon the finish of the last 2 quest guides, Dragon Slayer and Shield of Arrav, after those you fellow Draynor.net members will start writing quest guides for the members quests, we want to have everything don't we? :P

As I posted before, a highscore tracker might be on its way but due to the server trouble it will be delayed a bit, a bit meaning for an unknown amount of time and unknown meaning long.

I haven't done any extensive work on the website, apart from the fixes you guys reported and some personal stuff on another domain.
