We are pleased to announce that we have launched the RuneScape membership pre-pay card in WHSmith stores throughout the United Kingdom. The card comes in two versions: 30 days' subscription for £4.99 and 90 days' subscription for £12.99.

Once you have purchased your card, you can use the PIN number on the back to subscribe to RuneScape. Click here to find out how.

These cards are also available in the United States, and they can be found in branches of Target, 7-Eleven, Wal-Mart and Rite-Aid. We are hoping to launch these convenient cards in more countries in the future, so keep an eye on ‘Recent News’ for updates.

Still, who would buy those cards?
"Hey, I play runescape, can I buy that card please?"

I don't know why everyone is embarrassed to play runescape. Not just you Lord, but every time a topic like this is posted people are saying how they wouldn't do it because it would in your words "kill your reputation". Unless you are over-obsessing runescape, I don't she why it is wrong to buy membership.
How is runescape so much different than other games? Obviously millions of people are buying membership since the owners have hundreds of millions of dollars, so why the secrecy?

How so?
What is wrong with paying money to have fun, buying a subscription is the same as buying a game itself.

I don't think at the moment, but I'm pretty sure they're trying to do so.

This is cool, and better for the "UKers" although since I live in the USA and it doesn't really effect me its still better to make buying memberships easier. ;-)
