~#@#~The Wilderness Achievement Diary~#@#~

Jagex may have already released 7 diaries previously, but another addition into the game could be a much wanted update for those gamers who want challenging tasks inside the game.
The Wilderness, a vast area of wasteland with many points of interest to be explored, would make a great place to set up an Achievement Diary for the less casual gamers (not that it wouldn't interest and meet their needs).
With so many areas to explore I'm sure this has been mentioned before. This is my concept of what I would suggest, criticise it if you must, but I would prefer it to be constructive, rather than a flame. If some of my tasks coincide with another Achievement Diary, then tell me and I will update it, any mistakes, inform me of those too please :-D

~#@#~Easy Tasks~#@#~
    1. Collect 3 tiles and 3 planks from the Graveyard of Shadows.
    2. Participate in a battle of Clan Wars
    3. Climb to the top of the Dark Knights Fortress.
    4. Create some Chaos Runes in the Chaos Altar.
    5. Reach level 45 Wilderness.
    6. Use a Wilderness obelisk.
    7. Enter the Chaos tunnels from any of the five ropes in the Wilderness.
    8. Mine some iron ore and two coal near the Air Obelisk.
    9. Recharge your prayer at the Chaos Temple.
    10. Buy a team cape from a team cape vendor.
    11. Smelt a steel bar in the ruins near Clan Wars.
    12. Smith a steel shortsword at the ruins near the Bandit Camp.
    13. Kill an adult Black Unicorn.
    14. Recharge your prayer at the temple near level 40 Wilderness.

~#@#~Medium Tasks~#@#~
    1. Use Telekinetic Grab to obtain a nature rune near the Greater Demons in level 43 wilderness.
    2. Complete 1 lap in the Wilderness Agility arena.
    3. Mine 1 mithril ore and 4 coal ore in the hobgoblin mine near the Lava Maze.
    4. Smelt a mithril bar in the ruins near Clan Wars.
    5. Smith a mithril hatchet at the ruins near the Bandit Camp.
    6. Cage a lobster in the Wilderness fishing peninsula.
    7. Light a fire using a Eucalpytus log in the Deserted Keep.
    8. Cook a lobster in the Deserted Keep.
    9. Use the Ardounge-Wilderness teleport in the Deserted Keep.
    10. Get a muddy Key by killing a Chaos Dwarf near the Red Dragon Isle.
    11. Unlock the chest in the Lava Maze using the Muddy Key.
    12. Enter combat with an Ice Giant, and bury its remains.
    13. Win a match of Stealing Creation.
    14. Spy a penguin in the Wilderness.

~#@#~Hard Tasks~#@#~
    1. Kill a Greater Demon above the Red Dragon Isle.
    2. Kill your target on a Bounty Hunter/PvP World in the Wilderness.
    3. Mine an level 6 or higher alien meteor in the Wilderness.
    4. Kill a Bronze Dragon in the Chaos Tunnels.
    5. Catch a Black Salamander from anywhere in the Wilderness
    6. Use one of the God Spells on a Lesser Demon while wearing the corresponding cloak.
    7. Kill the King Black Dragon in his lair whilst using the Deflect from Magic curse.
    8. Kill more than 5 people in a Free for All match in Clan Wars. (maybe a bit easy)
    9. Defeat Bork in the Chaos Tunnels
    10. Enter the Abyss and go through the Blood portal in the centre and craft some Blood runes.

~#@#~Elite Tasks~#@#~
    1. Kill the Chaos Elemental (in a group or solo, either works)
    2. Kill the Corporeal Beast (as with the Chaos Elemental, can be soloed or teamed)
    3. Enter combat with a revenant ork or higher and come out as the victor.
    4. Mine some runite ore anywhere in the Wilderness.

~#@#~Rewards~#@#~

~#@#~Easy Task Reward~#@#~
Wilderness Tool 1(Can't think of another name :-o):
A wieldable item that can transform into a weapon (all styles of the combat triangle) hatchet, pickaxe, spade, fishing utensils (harpoon, lobster pot, rod etc.) much like the Stealing Creation items. However this reward does not degrade and does not need recharging. Gives a 10% boost of cutting an extra log, mining an extra ore, fishing an extra creature and vice versa when in the Wilderness (half boost outside the Wilderness).
One 10k experience lamp that may be used on any skill above level 25.

~#@#~Medium Task Reward~#@#~
Upgraded Wilderness Tool 2, much like the first, but increased boost up to 15% (half boost outside the Wilderness)
Two 15k experience lamps that may be used on any skill above 40.
The cost of the God Staves reduced by 25%.

~#@#~Hard Task Reward~#@#~
Further Upgraded Wilderness Tool 3, much like the previous two, but with an increased 25% boost (half boost outside Wilderness) It also allows you to remove a tele-block if you operate it. Also allows you to teleport straight to the Wilderness Agility Course.
Three 25k experience lamps available to use on any skill above 55.
The cost of God Staves reduced by 50%

~#@#~Elite Task Reward~#@#~
Fully Upgraded Elite Wilderness Tool 4, like the others, but with a 40% increased boost (half boost outside Wilderness) The elite version allows you to remove tele-blocks when operated and if you have the correct runes/Ectophial/other means of teleportation in your inventory or equipped it allows you to teleport at anywhere in the Wilderness, even level 56!. It also allows you to teleport straight to the Wilderness Agility Course.
Four 50k experience lamps used in any skill above level 70.
The cost of God Staves reduced by 75%

Thank you very much for reading my suggestion, I hope to see comments saying how it can be improved or just general support etc.

Good idea, and I like the effort made however some things (to me) seem in the wrong place. Some of the requirements seem to high in the easy section, I know it is almost nothing for most of us but for the other achievement diaries easy has practically no level requirements. So some easy ones should go in medium, also some hard ones seem not the right difficulty (runite ore should be an elite task, also spying a penguin would probably me medium). Still I like what I see so far!

As for rewards, sorry but I don't like any of it.

Thanks ;-) I know some of them may be out of place, and thank you for spotting some of them. As for the reward, it was tough choosing one. Experience lamps are always good. But the main reward the item, I thought it would fit, but in your view it doesn't :-( It was hard also for the fact that, the head slot item had been taken up by Seers' Headband, Cloak by Ardougne, Varrock for Chest and so on, so it was hard to pick a reward. But I'm up for suggestions too, as I can easily change my viewpoint to the community's. I did also say that many players actually want a challenge that takes a while and not something they can breeze through in a matter of minutes.

I like the idea, I am sure we will see a wild diary soon. I hope they add elite to all tasks first though. I also noticed two tasks that can't not be added. In the hard section, 10. the blood portal and in elite, 2. killing corp beast. The diary's can not be tasks that require quests and both these do.

Quote from Mod Maz about adding more elite tasks. QF: 16-17-723-59920655

Quote

- Try to stick to the skill “theme” of the area if at all possible. This is the loosest requirement.
- Avoid anything that relies on a random possibility, as this has caused problems in the past (see the gout tuber in Karamja!) this means avoiding things like monster drop tables, clue scrolls and other such random features.
- Avoid bottlenecks – things players can only do one at a time such as successfully thieving from one particular stall or killing the KBD.
- Never use any part of a quest as a task.

For the rewards I just think 10% is way to much for an easy diary, that is a lot for skilling. Also I don't get it, you can choose any of those items? That is like 10+ items for one weapon.

Some options you could try are:
-Legs
-Amulet/Necklace

By the way the lamps are WAY to high. One 10K one for easy? :-P Easy should like 1k, medium 5K or 10K (most), hard 10-20K. Elite ones are fine but I think you need to add some things to it seeing as there are only 2 (with Aldorug's point), maybe 3 more for 5 owuld be good?

I'm not big on the wilderness but i think this diary would be epic! The tool would be amazing for clue hunting especially that telly even at lvl 56. I would so do this diary if they ever made it.
