For too long have people wanted the Fire Cape. Not only for it's stats, but for it's looks.

My idea is to have a Christmas Event in which the reward would be a Snowflake Cape. The Snowflake Cape would not have any stats only it's looks. On the cape it would have Snowflakes falling, much like the Fire Cape's lava.

The Christmas Event would obviously have something to do with snow, maybe a second part to this year when you help out the Snow Queen. You might have to bring her a normal cape and another item in order to dress one of the snowmen.

This idea is not fully shown yet but with suggestions I could make it better.

Pretty cool suggestion. It is pretty nicely thought out. Of course you would have to think out more on the event. I think Jagex may make it look kind of lame, but they can always make it look good too. =)

I like the sound of it, but Fire Cape owners might be a little annoyed if they worked so hard to get an animated cape, only to find that you can easily get one as a reward.

But meh, they probably wouldn't care, it'd infact probably just make fire capes even more desirable (spl?).

I say no, I think it should be like Fire Cape (same bonuses and all) but be hard to get like the Fire Cape.

I'm not sure about snowflakes... It would look pretty lame, to say the least.

I think a water cape would make more sense. The animation could be ripples like you see when something touches a puddle of water.

As an owner of a fire cape, I wouldn't like this.

Yes, it probably would look very nice and it could make some people happy but... It just doesn't sound right. The fire cape is the only animated cape in the game so far and I want it to stay that way for long, because it takes some effort, patience and level of coolness to get.

If another animated cape ever comes out, I hope it's as hard or even harder to get.

Well, as I had previously stated the cape would have no boosting stats. I would love to have two animated capes in the game, it would give firecape owners a chance to wear something else.

Snowflake cape would be the coolest f2p cape (since we cant get legendary fire cape *mmm fire cape*) i wish they did that this year

I agree. But the event OR Quest would need combat to do so not all low leveled people could have it :o

If you wish to incorporate combat it can't be a 1 time only seasonal event, a level 3 can't kill a level 200(or higher).

Personally I don't like the idea, It seems like a general rip-off of the fire cape and un-original. But hey, Jagex hasn't had any decent original thoughts in a while X:
