I'd have to say I like AGS better, Dragon Claws are also really good, I've used both, But I just tend to preffer the AGS better. It hit's more, And is better for fighting others, Dragon Claws are mostly only good for rushing IMO.

Of those choices, the whip. Otherwise, My 2 other faves would be the Zamorakian spear (even though I can't afford one right now) and the leaf-bladed sword.

EDIT: Whoa! Guthan's warspear is "only" 1.4 mil (It used to be about 6 mil last I checked). I'm definitely going with this one instead, especially when I'm only going to be killing waterfiends - or any other monster that's weak vs. crush - with it.

Abyssal Whip is amazing, just sucks there is no Strength based attack. Followed closely by the Zammy Spear.

for me it is a toss up between the whip and the SGS. The whip has awesome speed and really good accuracy but the SGS is so handy when you are working on monsters that you need prayer for. Healing your hp and prayer with a spec is wonderful. Not to mention it hits really nice when you are potted and using prayers on Bandos and other bosses.
