99 Special Effects

The other thread got closed because i posted the QFC instead of the thread
So here it goes :
"I think having 99 in a skill just for the cape is somewhat pointless, there should be a special effect for every skillcape. (You need to be wearing the cape so that the special effects can work)
Some effects im thinking about.
Attack - ability to dual wield scimitars, when wielding 2 scimitars you will have the str bonus of one sword plus half of the strenght bonus of the another and same attack speed. (they must be the same kind)
Strength - ability to use a 2h (bronze-dragon)with a shield (like vana*ka)
Ranged - when using the skillcape emote, the arrow that lands on the floor would have the same effect as the dragon 2h special (could only be used once a minute so it couldnt be overpower), would have effect on any npc (or players in pvp) in a 3x3 square, you will get damaged from 1-5 , and the others will be damaged by a mininum of 5 damage and a max of 20
Prayer - ability to restore everyone's prayer (in a 3x3 square area) by 5 when using emote (can't be used in gwd, bosses, wilderness ,minigames and pvp worlds)(It doesn't restore the user's prayer)
Magic - ability to use twice the runes used in a spell(combat) (for example, 8 air, 10 fire and 2 death in fire blast ) to increase accuracy and damage by 2. (can't be used with ancient magicks, would be too overpower, i guess)
Hitpoints - 3x more restore rate, stacks with regen bracelet and prayer, giving up to 5x faster regeneration
Herblore - ability to create (4) potions instead of the usual (3)
Thieving - 50% less chance to get caught while pickpocketing and deactivating traps.
Fletching - ability to fletch using a sword.
Mining - ability to use explosives on rocks to take up to 3 ores. (suggested by a friend)
Fishing - ability to use fishing explosives to take up to 4 fish (suggested by a friend)
Farming - Ability to have an alotment/herb patch in your house ! (You can only pick one , and must pay 100k to change to another patch
Crafting - 30% chance to get 1 more gem when cutting (doesn't work with dragonstone or onyx)
Construction - Enables the players to reorganize their house without having to "destroy" the rooms, less payment to butlers.
Agility - ability to run a bit faster with slower energy drain rate.
Summoning - Points go down really slow. (about 1 a minute)
Firemaking - when using emote, it burns 2-5 logs in your inventory instantly
Rune Crafting - When using the emote, it creates all the runes present in the emote. (can only be used once every 2 minutes and half)
Cooking - Never burn when wearing skillcape
Smithing - 80 % chance of smelting iron and you now only need 1 bar less for any item that requires 3 or more bars (4 bars for rune platebody instead of 5)
Defense - After using emote, prevents damage for 20 seconds, has a 4 minute cooldown.
Woodcutting - Has 60% percent change of cutting 2 logs at once
Players Ideas:
Fishing:
10% change to catch 2 Sharks, Sea Turtle or Manta Ray at 1 time.
20% change to catch 2 Karambwan or Monkfish at 1 time.
30% change to catch 2 Swordfish, Bass or Lobster at 1 time.
40% change to catch 2 Tuna, Salmon, Pike or Cod at 1 time.
50% change to catch 2 Trout, (Casket), Mackerel, Anchovies, Herring, Sardine or Shrimps at 1 time.
It DOESN'T work at barbarian fishing. "

With some tweaking a lot of these wouldnt be bad ideas to add to the game. Whether or not they do is a different story. I too have had an idea when wearing a skill cape it gave you a special ability in that selected skill and what not. Good idea id think.

Good idea, I think you should have an advantage for a 99 more than a cape. Not sure I agree with all your ideas but sure most would work out good.

Overall, a very good idea to have these bonuses. Most of the bonuses themselves are also really good. Well done.

It looks good but I do see one problem, some of them are a lot better than others. There is a big gap on how helpful they are.

Lol I was thinking exactly what Alchemy said. Anyway I think this would be awesome as long as they weren't over-powered. I love the agility idea, I always thought I should be able to run like Usain Bolt

Great ideasm but the Agility special effect probably won't ever be implemented as it's completely unfair to others if you're able to run faster.
Anyways, you seem to have missed Hunter, so I'd thought I would give my suggestion.
Spec effect: Increased chance of success on all traps, and an effect similar to smoking your traps but more useful.

2-5 logs for my Firemaking emote?! Awsome! Good ideas there, I personally agree on the fact that the current skillcape effects are a little outdatedf. Skillcapes were released about 3 years ago from this month on and since then alot has happened..

I totally agree with all you Suggestions, but I do not understand some, like Mining.

When I first read through this my initial thought was one of hesitation. But the more I think about it, the better this actually sounds. Considering you only really receive a cape for mastering a skill, I think having these additional bonuses would be great reward. The toughest part is though, making sure that none of the effects are overpowered.
Cool concept though. I'd love to see you build on it a little more.
