Quest Guide: Pirate's Treasure

Redbeard Frank knows where secret pirate treasure is hidden. It may require some work to persuade him to let you know where, though. Port Sarim. Speak to Redbeard Frank. 2

1. Drunken Needs Required Items: Money to purchase Karamja Rum.
Talk to Redbeard Frank in the Port Sarim bar and he'll tell you he wants some Karamja Rum. In return for it, he will give you directions to a hidden treasure. Go south along the docks of Port Sarim to find Captain Tobias and some seamen. Talk to one of them and pay them 30 coins to get to Karamja. Once you're on the jungle island, go west, to the bar. Buy a Karamja Rum from the bar, but don't go back to the ship right away for your return journey. If you try and take it on the ship, the Customs Officers will confiscate it. You also cannot teleport off the island with the rum, because the bottle will break. So, you need to go to the banana plantation (northwest of the dock). Get Luthas to hire you as a worker by simply speaking to him. Your job is to fill the crate beside his house with bananas. So, grab 10 bananas and go to the crate. Put the bottle of rum in first, followed by all 10 bananas. Now, return to Luthas and he will pay you 30 coins for finishing the job. You'll also need to ask him where the crate goes, and he will tell you it goes to the grocery store in Port Sarim. Make your way back to Port Sarim via the boats you came here with.
2. Smuggling the Rum Required Items: White Apron.
Get off the ship and go to the grocery store, which is southwest of your current position. Try to enter the door at the back of the store, and you'll notice Wydin won't let you. He says that only employees are allowed back there. Put on your white apron and ask him if you can work there. Remember to put the apron on, or else he won't agree with your request. Now that you can enter the back room, go in and search the crate for your Karamja Rum. Now go back to the, and give the Rum to Redbeard Frank.
In return for the rum, Frank gives you a key to a chest in the Blue Moon Inn, located in Varrock. Head to the Inn, and go up the stairs. In one of the rooms, is a chest that matches your key. Open it and you'll receive a clue to the treasure's location.
3. The Treasure Hunt Required Items: Spade, Treasure Clue.
Next, head to Falador Park, and find a statue of Saradomin. The statue is pointing in the general direction of your treasure. If you look on the map, you will notice that you're standing next to an X made in the dirt. Find the middle of the X, and use your spade to dig up the treasure. The first time, a gardener will come and attack you. You will need to kill him, and then run out of the park. Then, come back in and dig in the same spot to receive One-Eyed Hector's Treasure, and complete the quest.
