Farmer Fred's sheep are getting mighty woolly. He will pay you to shear them.


Sheep Farm northwest of Lumbirdge Castle. Speak to Farmer Fred.

1. The Assignment
Start by talking to Fred the Farmer, and ask him for a quest. He'll ask you to shear some of his sheep and bring him 20 balls of wool. If you don't have any wool already, you may want grab some shears from the table in his house.
2. Obtaining the Balls of Wool
Exit Fred's house and enter the field just southeast of it. Use your shears on all of the woolly sheep until you have a good 20 pieces of wool. If there are no more woolly sheep, don't worry! They will become woolly again after a certain amount of time.

After you've collected 20 pieces of wool, head into the Lumbridge Castle and climb the stairs to the second floor. In the southern room, there will be a spinning wheel. Use your wool on it to make 20 balls of wool. You'll get some Crafting experience from each one too!
3. Returning to Fred Required Items: 20 Balls of Wool.
Lastly, return to Fred the Farmer and give him the 20 balls of wool. Fred will reward you in result of your hard work with some coins and Crafting experience.
