Walkthrough
1. Talk to Denulth
2. Talk to Eohric
3. Go upstairs in the Toad & Chicken Inn and knock on the door to the far side of the room
4. Talk to Harold about the combination
5. Talk to to Eohric
6. Go back to the inn and buy an Asgarnian Ale from the bartender
7. Talk to Harold and ask if you could buy him a drink
8. Talk to Harold again about the the combination
9. Go to the Gnome Stronghold (Grand Tree) and buy Harold a Blurberry Special from the bar
10. Bring the Blurberry Special back to Harold and ask if you can buy him a drink (again)
11. When Harold is drunk, you can gamble him, and after you gamble for about 130gp, he will give you an IOU – the combination is on the back
12. Return to the castle and locate the lock mechanism – there are 5 coloured stone balls on the ground and six slots
13. Pick up the 5 stones and place them in this order:
14. Put the Blue stone in the Southwest corner
15. Put the Yellow stone in the Southeast corner
16. Put the Red stone in the middle on the West side
17. Put the Purple stone in the middle on the East side
19. Put the Green stone in the Northeast corner
20. Climb the stairs and Talk to the Archer
21. Walk North past Denulth's tent and follow the dirt road to the Cave on the side of the mountain
22. Walk inside the Cave and Talk to Saba
23. Follow the path Northwest until it ends, and then walk West until you find a small hut
24. Knock on the door and go inside, and talk to Tenzing
25. Return to Burthorpe and Talk to Dunstan, the smithy about Spiked Boots
26. Talk to Denulth about Dunstan’s son
27. Take an Iron Bar and the Certificate and Talk to Dunstan
28. Take 10 Loaves of Bread, 10 Cooked Trout, and the Spiked Boots and Talk to Tenzing
29. Read the Secret Way Map and leave Tenzing’s house by the rear Door
30. Climb over the Stile and follow the twisting path North, and then East until you get a Speech Window of your character that says you have gone far enough
31. Return to Burthorpe and Talk to Denulth
